Concrete Barn

A former threshing barn, rebuilt in board-marked concrete and green oak. The double-height hall keeps the scale of the old building, with five bedrooms arranged in a single-storey wing beside it.

Large sliding doors open the hall to a stone terrace on both sides, so the house can be opened up completely in summer.

The setting

The barn sits in eight acres of pasture and woodland, with views to the Black Mountains and a market town fifteen minutes away.
